In celebration of National Clean Out Your Closet Week (March 13-19), Thrift Store Confidential has the exclusive honor of teaming up with Hearts of Gold, the Thrifty HoG Boutique and the fabulous Organizta, to give you a video that makes cleaning out your closet not only simple and fun, but importantly, extremely beneficial for those in need.
Roberta, our lovely host, volunteered her closets for a makeover. After only two hours on a rainy day, Roberta turned her closets from overflowing and cluttered to refined and beautiful. She called the transformation “amazing,” and declared that it will make “getting dressed about 20 minutes faster.” What’s more, she donated two enormous bags of clothing and accessories to the Thrifty Hog Boutique; a lot of mothers will get much-needed support, and a lot of children will get birthday parties because of her generosity.
If you live in and around NYC, make it a priority to check out the Thrifty HoG Boutique; if not, take a couple of hours to rid your closet of clutter and take a few items to your local thrift store. So many people can benefit from things that just don’t suit your needs.
