Thrifty Vintage Chic: How to be a Rockstar

I’m loving Thrifty Vintage Chic – her gorgeous blog will definitely inspire you, as it did for me today.  I’ve been working my butt off and have lost a touch of my sense of humor as a result of being glued to this chair.

How to Be a Thrifty Rockstar

She came up with a great post “How to Be a Rockstar,” and challenged her readers to put together a great outfit based around a vintage rock tee.  There’s also a contest with prizes for guessing the total cost of her look.  I don’t know what came over me, but it was much-needed and a lot of fun – I tore apart my closet and jewelry, found my beloved “In Keef We Trust” shirt, threw on some MAC lipstick, set the timer on the camera, and had an absolute riot. Now I may actually leave the house!  I don’t know how much of a rockstar I might look like these days, but with her challenge, I definitely feel more rock & roll.

Right?! NYC is totally sewed up in that area; dealers swoop them up from all of the stores before I can find them. Got any favorite finds?
